RIP Gerald Ford

Only a few words on Gerald Ford's passing. Many others will be far more elequant. Gerald Ford was and is really the only Republican President of my memory that I respected as an intelligent man who actually meant what he said and did what he did for the good of the country. Of course I was VERY young then so bear with me. My big memories of Gerald Ford sadly are the SNL's Chevy Chase impersonations. President Ford lead into Carter and the wacky days of Ronald Ray-gun, but I still remember Gerald Ford as a decent seeming guy with a nice wife and family.
