Latest Polls on the KY Governor Race

The departure of State Treasurer Jonathan Miller from the Democratic gubernatorial primary greatly benefited candidate Steve Beshear, the SUSA poll to be released this afternoon will show. The other significant movement in the poll: support for candidate Bruce Lunsford is collapsing.

Beshear / Mongiardo: 32% (23%)
Galbraith / Wireman: 5% (6%)
Henry / True: 18% (18%)
Hensley / Robbins: 1% (1%)
Lunsford / Stumbo: 23% (29%)
Richards / Brown: 12% (9%)Undecided: 9% (7%)

UPDATE II:
On the Republican side, Governor Ernie Fletcher still has a commanding lead over Anne Northup, who is the sick-o-phant of Senator Mitch McConnell.

Fletcher / Rudolph: 44% (46%)
Harper / Wilson: 14% (14%)
Northup / Hoover: 34% (34%)
Undecided: 8% (5%)
