Republicans block attempt to stop Bush Spying on Americans

Photo here:

From truthout:

Senate Republicans blocked Democratic attempts to rein in President Bush's domestic wiretapping program Wednesday
Amid a sustained White House campaign to give the administration broad authority to monitor(spy on), interrogate(torture) and prosecute(kangaroo courts) terrorism suspects.
--

Republican party's top 5 goals(my picks add your own):
1. Unlimited power to the (Republican of course) President to torture and detain ANYONE he wants and wage war at will.
2. Spying on American citizens(and I suspect all non-Repub politicians/dissidents)
3. Destruction of Social Security and other social safety nets to the benefit of corporate brokers/bankers.
4. Corporatizing the environment/disasters/wars for profit.
5. Control of voting systems. They've nearly succeeded at and may already have perfected this. It would explain why they don't seem to worried about a Democrat using any of these executive powers they're
throwing on Der Bush.
