Peat bog mummies the latest historical trivia I've become semi-obsessed with. Many came to a savagely violent end, sacrifice, execution, robbery/murder maybe all at once

Thousands of these bodies have been discovered. Some more than likely were
suicides, some slipped and/or fell to their dooms in the bogs.
