No it's not the eye of Mordor. This, in theory is the view of a black hole. Particulary GRO J1655-40. Of course another theory says that at this distance your atoms are being stretched to infinity.

In the center of a swirling whirlpool of hot gas is likely a beast that has never been seen directly: a black hole.
