For The Ron Paul Fans

Memling talks about the Ron Paul fanatics.

"..Let me add, just for the record...
I have no big problem with Paul himself. Yes, he’s a loon in a “the-U.N.-is-conspiring-to-sap-us-of-our-purity-of essence” kind of way, but other than that he seems like a nice enough guy. Even a lefty like myself can appreciate his performances in the Republican debates.

His supporters, on the other hand, appear in need of a long group therapy session and a truckload of Paxil.."

What do you think of Ron Paul? Here's his positions on the issues.

I really dont understand...Ron Paul supporters have been openly attacked for as long as they have been covered. And then people act surprised when the Ron Paul supporters are angry.

Do you see any articles about other candidates where they casually mention that the supporters are all crazy as if it is some foregone conclusion?

There are always people that will get heated or angry over personal attacks. I just dont understand why I can't support a man who wants to stop inflation without being called crazy. Has American politics degraded so far that simply supporting a candidate and defending them from attacks earns you the need for a group therapy session.
