Like Alcohol Prohibition It Was Lost When It Started. People want their drugs, they'll get their drugs. Rolling Stone has an excellent article up on the US government's continuing failure at the "war on drugs". I already know a BIG reason for the fed's escalating war on (un-approved) drug users. It's a BIG business, it's good for the corporations,it's keeps that pesky marijuana from being used as a beneficial drug, it's good for the police(funding and confiscations), private prisons, foreign death squads.
